Weather Aware conditions continue overnight due to the potential for locally heavy rainfall. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 7 a.m. for the northernmost portions of Texoma including Atoka, Coal, Johnston, Murray and Pontotoc Counties Beware of flooded road-ways and never drive around barricades or into water more than six inches deep. High rainfall rates may reduce visibility and also increase the risk of hydroplaning. Turn around, don’t drown! Rain ends NW to SE during the day Thursday.
BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. -- An accident had forced a section of northbound U.S. Highway 75 between Calera and Colbert to shut down Tuesday morning but the highway has since reopened, and traffic should be moving normally at this time.
The area affected was from mile marker 7 near Calera through Colbert, Oklahoma.
An 18-wheeler reprtedly ran off the road causing major problems on the highway.
Officials were able to remove the semi from the area in a few hours.
No injuries have been reported.
