Flash flooding in Sherman

Plenty of reports of flash flooding Wednesday night across the area.
Iin Sherman, water flooded Harrison Street at the railroad tracks, making it impassable.

That forced officials to close the road around 8:30 pm.

The Mulberry underpass was also shut down for a short time, and Travis Street, just north of Lamberth, was also closed due to high water.

Chief Jeff Jones says debris that has collected in street gutters contributed to the flooding. He says crews have been so busy this week, they haven't had time to clean them out from last week's floods.

I got five bucks that says Anonymous is a staff writer at the station.. Big Momma, I agree with you all the way on this, no matter how you spell ENGLAND or england. There is such a thing as proof reading.. But then, if you never were taught this in high school it's kind of like the blind leading the blind.. You WOULD think though, they would know how to use spell check. Thank you George Bush for the Taks test.

If I was going to call someone's use of grammar into question, I would realize that England is a country and that English is a language, which should be capitalized...

If I were the station manager I'd be so embarrased to allow so many people know that your staff doesn't include anyone who knows the basic rudiments of english grammar and how to write a complete paragraph and sentence. Shame on you.
