2nd Earthquake in Carter County This Week

(Lone Grove-AP) -- For the second time this week a small earthquake is being reported in southern Oklahoma. The US Geological Survey says a 2.9 magnitude quake occurred at 7:30 this morning about four miles northwest of Lone Grove.

That's near where a 3.7 quake was reported on Tuesday.

Tuesday's quake rattled dishes and 140 people reported feeling
the tremor. Jim Lawson with the Oklahoma Geological Survey says no
one has reported feeling this morning's quake.
