ARDMORE, Okla. -- Two suspects are in custody after an armed robbery at the Grandy's Restaurant on North Commerce Street.

20-year-old Andron Dyshaun Thompson and his accomplice 19-year-old Larry Lamar White were arrested within seconds, after they walked out the back door of the restaurant.

Just before 10 o'clock Friday night, Thompson and White climbed through the drive thru window with a hand gun and tied up 3 children and one employee. One of the cooks was able to sneak out the back door to another restaurant and call police. The department responded within minutes and was able to surround the area just in time to catch the two walking out the back door.

Assistant Chief Ricky Lawrence with the Ardmore Police Department says, “I spoke with the owner of Grandy's Saturday. He was very pleased with Ardmore response time and was glad to see both suspects apprehended so fast.”

The cashier in the store was the parent of all 3 children who were tied up. The cook was on his first day of work. All will have plenty of time off.

If they had the suspects within minutes why all the road blocks and the traffic stops we came through this area on our way home from Turner Falls and my daughter and her boyfriend were harressed based on info that the suspects were in the same color truck and they fit the description of the robbers which we were told were still at large. SO WHATS UP WITH THAT????????? I get the feeling someones not telling the truth about the incident. IF they were in custody, why were we followed and why all the road blocks????????????????/

May God have mercy on your soul to whoever is speaking of hanging or killing my son and friend. Thank the Lord you are not God and your little opinion does not count. God is in contro of their lives now and forever. You all will never determine their fate. Amen!

Why did they need the money so bad? What motivated these 2 to do this? I wish your news team would have let us know.
