2 killed in wreck near Savoy
SAVOY, TX - A three car accident on U.S. Highway 82 in Savoy killed two people and injured two others Monday morning.

SAVOY, TX - A three car accident on U.S. Highway 82 in Savoy killed two people and injured two others Monday morning.
Police say a man driving a Cable One pickup truck east bound on U.S. 82 rear-ended a white sedan that was stopped to turn onto County Road 1235, causing the car to flip over. 82-year-old Peggye Woodson and her granddaughter, 31-year-old Mindy Ragsdale, died on the scene.
The other passenger, Ragsdale's three-year-old son, survived with non-life threatening injuries and was flown to a nearby hospital by air ambulance. He is now listed in stable condition.
A third vehicle was also hit in the accident. The driver was also flown to a hospital.
The driver of the Cable One truck suffered minor injuries and was also hospitalized. He has since been released.
Savoy Police say the accident remains under investigation.
