Winning Ticket Sold in El Paso

6-20-04- Lottery officials say the winning ticket in the record-setting $145 million Lotto Texas drawing was purchased at a gas station in El Paso. But the winner of last night's drawing, so far, hasn't come forward.

The Texas Lottery Commission said the ticket was sold at a downtown El Paso Chevron station.

The winning numbers were 09-26-28-29-40 with a bonus ball of 16. The winner elected to be paid in a lump sum when he or she bought the ticket. That means the ticket holder will get about half the jackpot, or $72.5 million in cash, minus 25 percent that is withheld for federal taxes, according to lottery officials.

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday's Lotto Texas drawing is $4 million.
