Politician Pie Fight - Relay for Life Fundraiser

6-25-04 - A pair of Ardmore politicians kicked off the Relay for Life festivities in Ardmore Friday by sharing some cream pie. Republican Greg Piatt and Democrat Johnny Crutchfield took turns putting a pie into each other's faces Friday afternoon all in the name of charity.

Citizens of Ardmore paid money to watch the pair fling pastries in order to raise money to find a cure for cancer. The two raised close to $500.

The Relay for Life event was delayed for one hour Friday night due to rain, but began at 7 p.m. at Noble stadium.
