Dog Investigation Turns to Meth Bust

6-29-04 - A vicious dog report turned into a methamphetamine bust in Bells, Texas on Tuesday. Authorities initially went to the Panther apartment complex to detain a dog that bit a child two weeks ago. Once at a home across the street, police realized the 21 year old man inside already had a warrant out for his arrest.

Police say when Terry Souther stepped out on the porch, he had methamphetamine in his pockets. But neighbors are still scared of the dog, a miniature Doberman Pinscher.

Authorities say the next time it's running lose they will pick it up.
