6-29-04 - Testimony wrapped up Tuesday in the Kristy Jones murder trial. By Wednesday, the case of the Whitesboro Jeweler Murder will be in the hands of a Grayson County Jury.

On Tuesday, the mother of Kristi Jones testified that her daughter did show remorse after last summer's shooting death of John McCullough. She claims it was self defense.

But the prosecution paints a much different picture. Today they called witnesses who were mutual friends with both the suspect and the victim. They testified that Jones and McCullough actually took a motorcycle ride together months before the shooting.

Both the prosecution and defense will present their closing arguments first thing Wednesday morning.
