DENISON, Tex. -- Area kids will soon have a place to explore, learn, and have fun in the process. The Texoma Children Museum has a new home on Main Street in Denison.

Currently, their Dino Dig exhibit is mobile, but museum directors say they plan for more exhibits including a bank, a market, and a health exhibit so kids can pretend they are a surgeon or a dentist.

Museum director Sasha Best says this is a project in which anyone in the community can get involved.

"Any volunteer we'd love, for some construction company that can come in and donate supplies and labor. We would even be happy to acknowledge them as a pseudo-sponsor because any gift of service or good, we need that, we want that."

Museum directors hope to open their doors by the end of this year.
