Thomas Indicted Third Time
7-01-04 The man accused of killing his wife, and her two children months ago, now faces a third charge of capital murder. Prosecutors added the charge against Andre Thomas on Thursday

7-01-04 The man accused of killing his wife, and her two children months ago, now faces a third charge of capital murder. Prosecutors added the charge against Andre Thomas on Thursday. This one for the death of 13 month old Leyha Hughes, his estranged wife Laura’s daughter. Of course Thomas has already been found incompetent to stand trial. He now sits in a maximum security state mental hospital. Police say Thomas confessed to killing the three in their Sherman Apartment months ago, then mutilating the bodies. It was after he was in the Grayson County Jail that Thomas gouged out his own eye.
