Kristi Jones Sentenced to Probabation in Manslaughter Case

7-01-04 The woman convicted of manslaughter in the death of a Whitesboro business owner sentenced to probation in a Grayson County Courtroom Thursday. The jury deliberated nearly six hours on the fate of Kristi Jones. Their final decision, ten years probation and a ten thousand dollar fine. Her family and friends exchanged hugs while supporters of the McCullough family filed silently out of the courtroom. The prosecution then asked the judge to add 180 days of jail time to Jones sentence. A decision on that will be made Friday. Kristi Jones will be back in the courtroom at 9:00 Friday morning to hear the terms of her probation.
