SHERMAN -- Helping flood victims recover from disaster is the goal of the Grayson Disaster Relief Group. On Friday, they finalized plans for the "Hope Rally".
The event will bring together flood victims, giving them a chance to share their stories with others. Organizers say it will also help them understand they are not alone in the struggle to recover.
"We want to be able to assist them in the best way we can. We want to be able to bring volunteer groups together as well as people from the community who are wanting to reach out and help people who are in need," said Sherman pastor Lander Bethel.
