4 Men Hit By Lightning

07-02-04 - It started as a normal day for four men working on a landscaping project at the Chickasaw Nation Headquarters but it quickly turned tragic when lightning struck throwing all four men to the ground.
It happened around 9am this morning in Ada. Three of the men were grabbing sandstone rock to lay down when the lightening hit. Another was standing near their truck. He was thrown under the vehicle. The other three men were transported to the Valley View Hospital; two are in stable condition. The third was later transported by air to an Oklahoma City Hospital and is in serious condition.
The 4 men are workers of the Bakers Landscaping Company and for the past six months they have been landscaping building around the Chickasaw Nation Headquarters.
