Stuck truck ties up traffic on U.S. 82 in Sherman
SHERMAN, TX - An 18-wheeler gets stuck on U.S. Highway 82, shutting down the westbound lanes around 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon between FM 1417 and State Highway 289.

SHERMAN, TX - An 18-wheeler gets stuck on U.S. Highway 82, shutting down the westbound lanes around 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon between FM 1417 and State Highway 289.
A trucker from Fort Worth was carrying an airport terminal walkway on an extended trailer headed to Iowa. He says he was traveling west on U.S. 82 and was supposed to turn onto State Highway 289, but missed the exit and tried to turn around.
That's when his truck couldn't quite make the turn, and his trailer got stuck on the highway.
Sherman police diverted all traffic to the eastbound lanes of U.S. 82 and a tow truck had to pull the 18-wheeler off the road and out of the ditch.
