(McKinney-AP) -- McKinney police today dropped capital murder charges against three men in the March shooting deaths of four
people - including two high school football players.

Police cited a lack of physical evidence -- but also said Jecory
May, Calvin Walker and James Jones remain the prime suspects in the
attack at a home.

Authorities say DNA evidence is at a crime lab in Austin, and
could take up to two more months to process.

Charges could be refiled over the deaths of 46-year-old Rosa
Barbosa, her 25-year-old nephew Mark Barbosa and McKinney North
High School students Austin York and Matthew Self.

Meanwhile, Jones remains in custody on kidnapping and robbery
charges in an unrelated case.

May is facing charges of robbery, sexual assault of a child and
bond forfeiture.

Walker faces a criminal trespass charge.
