New Company, Jobs Coming to Denison

7-15-04 - The Denison City Council signed off on Project Beth on Thursday – an incentive package that will bring Florestone manufacturing to the city’s industrial park. Florestone manufactures shower bases, tubs and sinks, and will bring 70 new jobs to Denison.

Florestone has been considering Denison for the past six months – naming them as a finalist in February. Denison beat out competition in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

The city will give the company 10 acres inside the Foundation Business park. Construction on the 120,000 square foot plant will begin in the next 30 days. The $6 million investment will take ten months to complete.

This will be Florestone’s 2nd plant inside the United States. The company is based in California.
