Man Escapes From Rollover Accident

7-17-04- A local man escaped from a dangerous situation Saturday evening after his car flipped over on U.S. Highway 75 in Sherman. Police believe the man was driving too fast, when he lost control and hit the median. The small car flipped over on its top.

Amazingly, the man was able to crawl to safety with only some minor inuries. But the accident did shut down the highway near the 691 overpass and traffic was backed up nearly an hour around 5:30 p.m.

The driver was not ticketed in the accident. No other cars were involved and no one was injured.
