Girl Returns Home in Lindsay

7-29-04 - Authorities in south-central Oklahoma are still looking for a man who may have held a 16 year old runaway girl against her will. That teenager came back home at around midnight Thursday. She is safe, but authorities say the man is at large.

On Tuesday, a relative spotted the 16 year old girl, two days after she disappeared from Lindsay, Oklahoma. That man told police that a, 18-year-old man was with her, and threatened her with a gun as the relative got closer.

Police later spotted the suspect; Andrew Williams, driving alone in a car. They gave chase, but Williams got away. He was later spotted ditching the car and heading into a wooded area.

Williams is still on the run.
