8-02-04 - A small plane crash in Grayson County Sunday night killed a father and son. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 43 year old William Noel of Sanger, Texas and his 15 year old son, Alex Noel of Richardson died when their plane went down in a neighborhood just south of F.M. 902 near Collinsville.

Investigators are still trying to put together the pieces of what happened and why the plane went down. Some neighbors report hearing the plane crash at 4:25pm, but not seeing it.

The pilot and passenger of the small, single engine experimental two-seater were both pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators are not sure where the pilot was coming from or where he was going.
