8-3-04 - One of the most infamous cases of child molestation in Texoma is now closed. Todd Sisk, a former employee of the Durant School District, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of child molestation and child pornography charges, stemming from his arrest last year.

Sisk, 30, already had made a plea deal in federal court, where he was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Tuesday, a district judge sentenced him to an additional 15 years in state prison.

The investigation into Sisk, who was the public information officer for Durant schools, began last June. Adolescent boys told police Sisk had molested them at his home. Later, authorities found child porn images on Sisk’s computers.

There were some family members of Sisk’s young victims in court today. They told a First News reporter that they are relieved he will spend the next thirty years in prison.
