McALESTER, Okla. (AP) - Law enforcement officials are continuing
to investigate why a bullet smashed through the windows of a
vehicle traveling along a highway near McAlester.

Doug Rendleman of Bluffton, Missouri, was driving on US Highway
69 last week when a bullet went through the windows of his GMC
Safari minivan. The bullet shattered the front passenger window and exited the driver's side window, narrowly missing Rendleman. He suffered minor cuts from shattered glass.

Pittsburg County Undersheriff Richard Sexton says investigators are still trying to determine if the bullet was fired intentionally.
