DENISON, Tex -- A night of joy-riding lands one Denison man in jail. Grayson County deputies say they found Robert Gene Walker near a white airplane on the runway at the Tanglewood airstrip on Saturday.

Walker told the deputy he was driving by and saw the plane on the runway and found the keys inside. Since he'd always wanted to fly one, he decided to take it for a spin.

Apparently Walker was doing a 'figure 8' on the grass when it nose dived into the ground. Walker was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The owner did not want to pursue charges.
