Texoma farmers are facing the challenge of getting seed for next year’s wheat crops.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says there is a shortage of seed due to the poor crops this year.

Officials say they are lowering the standards for wheat sellers, which means lower quality will be sold.

Farmers will have to buy more seed per acre to get a strand of wheat.

Local farmers say this will not only cost them more money but will also mean more work.
