Florestone Breaks Ground in Denison

8-10-04 - Florestone, Denison’s newest factory since 1987, broke ground in the Foundation Business Park today. The California based company chose Denison last month after naming them a finalist last February.

They will be the first new manufacturer to build in Denison since 1987. Denison city leaders credit that to a powerful incentives package.

The company brings with it 70 new manufacturing jobs that will be inside a 123,000 sq ft building. Those workers will build showers and bathtubs for new homes and buildings.

Construction will take about 10 months to complete and about three months to get the $12 million worth of equipment installed.
