DURANT, Okla. -- They help draw new business to Oklahoma. Now they've got more resources to do it. Durant officials welcomed Rural Enterprises of Oklahoma into their new business facility today.
Built with state, federal, and local grants, along with private donations, the 15,000 foot building houses both offices and warehouse space.
U.S. Senator James Inhofe, state Senator Jay Paul Gumm, Chief Greg Pyle, and Durant city leaders were there to take part in Monday’s grand opening and say this is a great thing for the area.
Officials say this is just part of Oklahoma’s continuing plan to boost economic development.
