DURANT, Okla. -- They help draw new business to Oklahoma. Now they've got more resources to do it. Durant officials welcomed Rural Enterprises of Oklahoma into their new business facility today.

Built with state, federal, and local grants, along with private donations, the 15,000 foot building houses both offices and warehouse space.

U.S. Senator James Inhofe, state Senator Jay Paul Gumm, Chief Greg Pyle, and Durant city leaders were there to take part in Monday’s grand opening and say this is a great thing for the area.

Officials say this is just part of Oklahoma’s continuing plan to boost economic development.

Het- Becki, not knocking what this business does. Good for them. Just saying, once again KXII has a misleading story. The REI I'm referring to is known ALL OVER the US as just that. And if you haven't ever heard of them, my theory about living under a rock is proven. KXII shouldn't use initials for headlines, it is misleading to those of us who don't live in Podunk, OK.

OMG. What rock are you guys living under? To the rest of the US, REI stands for Recreational Equip. Inc. A wonderful camping and outdoor mega store. I was so excited to see this headline! Very misleading. I shoulda' known better!
