It was a busy morning on the roads in Texoma as numerous wrecks were reported throughout the area.

Spur 1417/U.S. 82 accident
SHERMAN -- One of the worst of those accidents happened on Spur 1417 and East U.S. Highway 82 in Sherman about 9:45 Wednesday morning.

Police say a green Mitsubishi Eclipse didn't stop at a stop sign on the spur. A white Cadillac Escalade was eastbound when it plowed into the eclipse.

"The passenger of the Escalade had an injury to the foot, the driver of the Mitsubishi had some injuries. We’re not exactly sure what they are. Both subjects were transported to local hospitals," said Officer Chuck Mauldin of the Sherman Police Department.

Traffic was re-routed for a short time but should be running smoothly now.
