SHERMAN -- The Texoma Regional Blood Center desperately needs your help. They say they're critically low on blood . They need all donors to please help, specifically those with O+ and O- types.
Officials at the Texoma Regional Blood Center say they are at a critical level with their blood supply.
O-positive and O-negative are the two most needed types because officials say they are used more often during accidents and surgeries.
Officials say they have tried to contact other centers across North Texas, but they too are low on their supply of blood.
They don't know what is causing the shortage, but the back-to-school rush could be one factor.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30, so go out and help them out at the Texoma Regional Blood Center on Texoma Parkway in Sherman.
