8-26-04 – A Sherman High School athlete was injured on the way to track practice Thursday morning. Police say the student had just been dropped off in front of the school in the north parking lot by her boyfriend when he pulled forward and hit her.
The student was taken to Wilson N. Jones with leg injuries.
Authorities say it was an accident; the boyfriend was not issued a citation.
