GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Grayson County officials will decide Monday if they will allow an air ambulance service to sell memberships within the county.

Texas Life-Star will present a membership plan which would allow residents to pay a set fee each year, and if they need the assistance of Life Star’s services at any time during that year, they won't have to pay any additional charges for the flight- which in some cases could run as much as $12,000.

What happens if a company other than Life star is called out? Will Life-Star offset the cost of that company or will the victim be liable to the cost?
