8-27-04 – The Denison Fire Department is investigating a fire at the CNP Recyclers warehouse in the 1800 block of Mac Gregor Drive. Two firefighters were taken to TMC where they were treated for heat exhaustion. Both have been released.
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 7:15pm Thursday. It took nearly seven hours to get the flames under control. The warehouse contained rolled carpet; the company recycles it for building material.
Officials don’t know the cause, but they do not believe the fire is suspicious.
