SHERMAN, Tex. -- Sherman Police are warning residents to be on the lookout for an Internet scam. They say mass emails are being sent to Grayson County residents asking them to send money to Africa in exchange for traveler’s checks.
Police say those checks are fraudulent.
An elderly woman has already fallen victim to the scam.
