SHERMAN, Tex. -- Police in Sherman are checking into leads on a possible suspect after several car burglaries Wednesday night.

Sherman Police say five vehicles were broken into at the Wal-Mart parking lot. They were called to the scene around 8:30.

Officials say radios were taken from all of the cars, and some of the cars’ windows were busted out.

Police say car thefts in this particular parking lot aren't common but that they will begin monitoring it more closely.

That is scarey I usually park over by the garden area, I guess I won't do that anymore. I think Wal-mart needs to fix their cameras.

I think my truck was a target because we put up sun shields in the day it was vandalized. If you think about it,you cant see whats going on when they are up.They tore our truck up,they tried to hot wire it to steal it.I was disappointed with WalMart because they claimed to have video of the parking lot which should have shown the thief, they claimed the video was to blurry. Please stop using sun shields, its only a hiding spot for thieves I think.

How in the world did NO ONE see this happening? Sounds like it happened while it was still light outside. Walmart's parking lot is like a zoo.
