SHERMAN, Tex. -- A story we brought you earlier this week has taken a bizarre twist. Neil Bloyd of Sherman reported being stabbed in the stomach for a second time Thursday night within just a week of being stabbed the first time.

Upon investigation, Sherman detectives discovered evidence that leads them to believe that at least last night’s stabbing was a fabrication, leading officials to question Bloyd's credibility of his previous reported stabbing.

These incidents are still under investigation.

We will have more for you as information becomes available.

Let Bloyd pay *cash* for all of the man power used to investigate HIS crime, pay *cash* (or reimburse) the insurance companies he may have used. Not only should he be charged with false reporting, as Heather says - but also insurance fraud, if he filed an insurance claim. Did anyone read where an air ambulance is $12,000 a trip - and this fool is just playing with the system? I don't think this is a race issue - I think it is a person seeking attention issue. His punishment should be made public - to get him MORE attention! Maybe a day on a corner in a donkey suit with "I am a Jackass for hurting others" sign would help him!

Hopefully they will charge this loser with filing a false report at this very least.

Yeah, and he blamed "the attack" on a black man. Always blame it on the black man. This guy who made up this story should be sent to prison. If he was black he would already be in jail.

This man also claimed to be stabbed when he was an employee at a local hospital. The things people will do to get attention these days shocks me to no end.
