A car crash around 8:30 p.m. Thursday sends one woman to a Dallas hospital.

Sherman Police say Hayley Jones, 27, was driving east on Center Street underneath the Highway 75 overpass, when she ran a stop sign.

They say she was hit by another car which was headed south.

Jones was flown by medical helicopter to Parkland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver, Jesse Brown Jr., a 23-year-old Sherman man, was not injured.

The point is if she had been paying attention she would had seen the stop sign and stopped

Dear Chuck, if she were on Center Street, West of Hwy 75 Access Road, driving East to go under the highway, and ran a stop sign there, a car traveling south on the access road (on the west side of hwy 75)would have t-boned her on the driver side of her car, true?? She probably didn't make it to the underpass before she got hit, wouldn't you say so?

Way to go CHUCK!!! Smart call and good catch. The car must have been heading North that hit her?Or perhaps it was the other way around and she was traveling west while the car was traveling south?

If she was driving east and underneath the underpass, she could not have been hit by a car traveling south unless that car was going the wrong way on the access road.

I wonder why this woman was flown by helicopter to Parkland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries instead of being taken to a local hospital?? It's very expensive (several THOUSAND dollars) to be flown in a helicopter. Seems kinda weird to me.
