8-31-04 - Mel Gibson's controversial film documenting the final days in the life of Jesus arrived at video stores this morning on DVD. The film has drawn criticism from those who say it is anti-semetic.
The movie was a hit at the box office, making over $600 million. For its video release, Fox Home Entertainment offered the film at discount prices to churches across the country.
