Mobile Home Destroyed in Fire

9-02-04 – The Oklahoma State Fire Marshall has been called to investigate a fire in a resort community at Lake Texoma. Firefighters received a call from neighbors at around 3:20am Thursday. A mobile home on Newberry Creek Road was engulfed in flames.
The trailer serves as a vacation home for two Sherman residents; they were not home when the fire broke out. No injuries are reported.
West Bryan County volunteer firefighters, assisted by the Silo Fire Department spent thirty minutes controlling the fire.
No cause has been determined.
