9-03-04 – Firefighters in Bonham spent most of Friday morning battling a barn fire. A barn in the 100 block of West First Street was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters were called at 12:30am. Flammable materials, including tires and paint cans, made controlling the fire more difficult.

According to firefighters, the barn was owned by The Bonham Economic Development Corporation. It was scheduled for demolition.
