ARDMORE, OK - Ardmore Police say a second person of interest is wanted for questioning the murder of Michael Sloan earlier this month. On Tuesday police arrested 18-year-old Mitchell Damien Brown. Now police say they are looking for 25-year-old Deshay Stevenson (pictured above), who might have vital information on the fatal shooting.
Sergeant Kevin Norris says Stevenson, also known as Deshay Franklin, has vital information on what happened that led to Sloan's death.
The 29-year-old Ardmore man was shot once in the back and was later pronounced dead at Mercy Memorial Hospital. Norris says the shooting took place on the block of 10th and B Street North West in the early morning hours of July 13.
On Tuesday, Brown was arrested and formally charged with first degree murder for the shooting of death of Sloan. Brown's bond was set at $2 million. Norris says..now police are still asking for the public's help in locating Stevenson.
"We believe that if we locate Mr. Stevenson and we speak to him, we can probably close this case," Norris says.
Stevenson is described as a black male, about 5'5", and weights about 160 pounds. If you have any information you're asked to call Ardmore Police at 580-223-1212.
