WHITESBORO, TX - A Whitesboro man arrested Tuesday night on drug and theft charges remains in the Grayson County Jail. Randy Lee Gendron (pictured, left), 28, was arrested for possession of a meth in a drug free zone and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in a weapon free zone.

The Grayson County Sheriff's Office says since Gendron was a convicted felon possibly affiliated with gangs, drugs, and weapons the Sheriff's Office Special Response Team searched his house Tuesday night at 610 North Jordan Street in Whitesboro. Inside they found $1,000 worth of meth, scales, pipes, syringes, several firearms and a stolen 4-wheeler.

They also found 18-year-old Nicholas George Cavender (pictured, right), of Howe, inside. He was charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and has bonded out of jail.
