GAINESVILLE, TX -- Two years after they broke ground Abigail's Arms staff are getting ready to move into their completed new building.

The nonprofit was issued a certificate of occupancy Wednesday.

Executive Director Kim Cook says they hope to have their offices moved into the new building within the next two to three weeks.

Over the next few months the staff will take part in intensive training before the residential portion of the shelter opens.

Cook says they will continue serving clients throughout the move.
