ADA, OK -- Ada City Council members have agreed to re-subscribe to technology that makes it easier for first responders to locate emergency callers.
Council members voted Monday night to continue providing Enhanced Emergency Number Services to residents in Pontotoc County. The E911 technology allows first responders to know a caller's exact location.
Ada Emergency Management Director, Gene Linton, also says this service is useful when children call 911 and don't know their address.
