ADA, OK -- Firefighters rescue a woman trapped inside a burning home in Ada over the weekend.
Firefighters responded to the fire on County Road 1576 after 7 A.M. Saturday.
Ada Fire Captain, Bill Atkinson, says the fire started in the living room, and crews were able to get it under control quickly.
Atkinson says six people were inside the house at the time, five of them got out on their own.
Firefighters rescued the other woman within minutes of arriving.
"One person was unaccounted for. They did a quick search of the premises, located her, and removed her from the structure," said Atkinson.
She was transported to Mercy Hospital in Ada and suffering from smoke inhalation. Another person suffered burns to their feet.
Fire officials say they are still investigating the cause, and say it was unintentional.
