ADA, OK -- The City of Ada has added a new leader to their staff.
Todd Kennemer has been hired as the new community development director for the city.
Kennemer says he's familiar with the position having previously worked in planning and public works positions in Oklahoma and Kansas.
He says he'll focus on planning and zoning issues, code enforcement, and community development for the future.
Kennemer added, "Try to get a housing plan, coming up and try to work with the downtown area and try to get something for that. Some of the zoning regulations need to be upgraded and various things like that"
Kennemer says he also wants to address some of the city's downtown parking requirements and façade improvements.
