PONTOTOC COUNTY, OK -- A late night crash claims the life of a young Ada woman Saturday.

Troopers say 22-year-old Kayla Williams died after she hit a semi on State Highway 3W in Pontotoc County.

The crash happened just before midnight 8 miles northwest of Ada. OHP says Williams was headed south when she crossed the center line and struck a semi driving north.

Authorities say the truck driver is not injured, but William's passenger 24-year-old Jerry Wheeler was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
