Alcohol a factor in Garvin County injury accident

GARVIN COUNTY, OK -- OHP says alcohol played a role in a crash that sent a Wynnewood man to the hospital Sunday.

Troopers say 26-year-old Coyete Lewis was driving on State Highway 29 when he failed to stop at an intersection, and crashed into a utility pole.

The accident happened at US 77, 2 miles west of Wynnewood, just after 2 Sunday morning.

Authorities say Lewis was air lifted to an Oklahoma City hospital in stable condition.
