ARDMORE, OK -- Friends of a man, who was stabbed multiple times in Ardmore Friday night say he is recovering in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Ardmore Police say around 10 p.m., 41-year-old Yoshikazu "Yoshi" Hirashawa was stabbed 7 times in the parking lot of Rockford C-Mart. Store owners say he is an employee and had just closed up the store when he was attacked.

Those at Rockford C-Mart say they have been overwhelmed with community support.

"Customers and everybody is coming to stop by to see how he's doing and fortunately he is doing good. We just got a call from him, from the hospital, so he's doing good." store owner, Parul Mehta said.

A jar has been set out at the store for anyone who would like to help with Hirashawa's medical bills.

Ardmore Police last told News 12 they were looking for two suspects, who were seen by witnesses running from the crime scene.
