Farm Credit of East Central Oklahoma already has an office on Commerce street.
But they're putting in another location next to the Ardmore Convention Center. They broke ground on the project about a week ago.
Ardmore city building official Scott McBride said it could provide up to a dozen new jobs to the area.
"They've got to staff it, which is more jobs," said McBride. "And with more jobs, more sales tax because those people are going to spend money."
McBride estimates the project will be finished in six to eight months.
