Ardmore city council approves full-time city attorney

ARDMORE, OK -- The city of Ardmore now has it's first full-time city attorney.

City Manager J.D. Spohn says Jennifer O'Steen was approved as City Attorney, at Monday night's meeting.

He says they'll discuss O'Steen's official start date Tuesday.

Commissioners also approved a request from the Ardmore police department to buy four new Chevy Tahoe.

Interim Chief Kevin norris estimates the total cost of the SUV's at $115,000 dollars.
