Ardmore man in critical condition after accident on Highway 70

BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- An Ardmore man is in critical condition after crashing into a semi truck on a Bryan County highway Monday night.

The accident happened around 4:30 PM Monday afternoon on Highway 70 at Ranger Station.

Troopers say 45-year-old Monty Miller was headed west on the highway when his pickup crossed the center median and hit the semi.

Miller was taken by ambulance to Texoma Medical Center with serious injuries, including trauma to his leg and arm

The Driver of the semi, 32-year-old Joshua Smoody of Wisconsin was not hurt.

Troopers say they don't know why Miller crossed the center median.

The highway was closed for about two hours.
